In recognition of Red Dress Day and in honour of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, teams who played on the May 5 weekend wore MMIW stickers distributed by the league. Additionally, teams gathered at the beginning of their game for a moment of silence. Together, as a league, we stand with those that have been affected by the devastating epidemic of violence against Indigenous women and girls.
