Divisions

The North Shore Thirty-Something Women's Soccer League has two Divisions of play based on age and not skill level.

The Over-30 Division is for any player who is at least the age of 30 by the end of the season for which she is registering.

The Over-45 Division is for players who are at least the age of 45.  It is an option for players 45 years of age or over.  It is not mandatory that players move to this Division once they reach the age of 45.  Many such players continue to enjoy playing in the Over-30 Division.

Seasons

Our league has two seasons every year: Fall/Winter which typically runs from the beginning of September to early March, and Spring/Summer which runs from the late-March/early April to the end of June.

All games in the Fall/Winter season are played on Sunday mornings, usually on North Shore grass fields, at either 9:30 am or 10:00 am. There is also an occasional game scheduled for a Friday evening at 8:00 pm.  We have a team in our O30 Division based in Squamish, therefore O30 teams from the North Shore will also travel occasionally to Squamish on Sunday mornings and when the weather turns colder, our Squamish team travels to the North Shore for games.

For the Fall/Winter season, teams typically request one practice slot per week. Practice field assignments are usually Monday through Thursday, from 8:00-10:00 pm, on select turf fields on the North Shore.

Spring/Summer games are played on North Shore turf fields and are either on Wednesday or Friday evenings, or Sunday mornings.

Teams typically opt not to practice during the Spring/Summer season due to the varying game days.
